First Episode of Voltron

By Great White Snark | February 26, 2007

Can someone tell me why the space explorers merit all the special treatment they get in the beginning of the episode? From what I can gather, the only reason they get special attention is the mere fact that they happen to fly around in a space ship… in a galaxy where spaceships aren’t at all unusual. I’m sure the enslaved population of the planet Eros is wondering why galaxy high command only got around to discussing the use of super-robot Voltron once the five space explorers were captured.

I’d also forgotten that one of the space explorers had a terrible German (?) accent.

Best line: “No one can keep us in a dingy hole like this! We’re space explorers! And we need space!”

We all need our space, buddy.
