What? The old-school, nostalgic sweetness of origami has been combined with the geek-chic awesomeness of robots in a retro-cool, free, free, free package? This news couldn’t get any better.
But wait! There’s more! Check out the site for a video featuring a comically petty head-to-head challenge between origami master Mr. Torimoto–a genuine old Japanese dude–and a piece of 3D-design software that talks smack like a smarmy Speak & Spell. From now on, when you think “biting sarcasm”, you’ll think of robots and origami masters.
Why would you need a folded-paper robot on your desk? To defend against imaginary paper alien invaders. Duh.
