Real-Life Batman Pulls a “Pied Piper” to Save Children from Invading Rat Hordes

By Great White Snark | April 20, 2007

The Hesperia Star reports that Batman has been spotted again, this time playing a flute near a group of children at a bus stop in Hesperia, CA. (How he does like to watch over the children!)

As anyone who is familiar with the Pied Piper of Hamelin (Hesperia?) knows, Batman was clearly luring an infestation of deadly rats away from a group of innocents. A storybook scene, indeed.

Ahem. Or, um, he was trying to lure the children into his nearby van. Unclear.

Quickly, Robin, into the Batmobile! And, um, bring your friends while you’re at it!
