Amazon.com Gives Star Wars Game A Poop-Star Rating

Either Amazon’s product-recommendation engine has sprouted an insidiously wry sense of humor, or one of the code monkeys in the Amazon offices is having a bit of fun.
Check out the product page for the Firstrax Poop Patrol Jaw Scoop. According to Amazon, this doggy-pooper-scooper is “Better Together” with the Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (PS2) video game.

I’d understand a suggestion to handle a video game based on the Star Wars prequels with a tool designed for picking up shit, but c’mon! Lego Star Wars II is about the original trilogy. We’re all bitter about the prequels, Amazon, but let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater, ok?

UPDATE: Amazon has quietly updated the Firstrax Poop Patrol Jaw Scoop page. Now, the pooper-scooper is apparently “better together” with a dog toy. Amazon, no need to send a ‘thank you’ note. A glowing acknowledgement in the comments section, below, would be fine.
