Metropolis, Illinois, Hosts Superman Celebration

Considers Name Change to ‘Metropolis-Gotham’ To Improve Festival Prospects
Metropolis, Illinois, held its yearly Superman Celebration this weekend. Thousands of people showed up for the festivities, so–much as a small farming community prospers when favorable weather supports the production of its one crop–the town will survive another year.
Several Superman-affiliated actors from yesteryear made appearances. I only have one question: Did Helen Slater recently get a boob job, or is the light just really favorable in this picture? Either way, looking good, Supergirl! (And I mean that in the least-lecherous way possible. Mostly.)
