To me being a geek means you're most content when you reveling in what other people would consider ludicrous detail about the things you love. How do you tell if you're a geek? If you've ever argued over something as "unimportant" as whether the clicking in the background of The Beatles' "Blackbird" is a metronome or Paul's foot you are a geek. So look into the mirror, puff out your chest, and say it loud, say it proud, "I am geek". (and for the record, it's Paul's feet. Engineer Geoff Emerick mic'd his feet separately to get the sound) Spot on.
