Capozzola Comic – Your Father’s Lifesavers…

By Great White Snark | April 29, 2008

Talented comedian and cartoonist Michael Capozzola wryly satirizes everything from politics to pop culture in his comic strip “Cheap City” every Thursday in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Now Capozzola brings his voice and art to the geek domain in a new, biweekly comic feature on Great White Snark.

Michael is bringing back his one-man show for one night after a sold out performance this past winter in SketchFest 2008.

“Cheap City…The Show” – is part stand up and part slideshow and–like the “Cheap City” strip–offers “Creative advice: for getting by on a budget.”

Check on the show Thursday, May 8th, at 8PM at La Pena Cultural Center in Berkeley, CA. For details: www.lapena.org. Tickets are $12.00.

Thanks for the heads up. I wanted to see Michael during Sketchfest but couldn’t. Now I can! :)
