Wait, so Singer is out of Superman? w00t!

(apparently no one at Warner Brothers actually saw Wanted, but whatever)

Unclear re: Singer. Nothing seems locked down yet.

What is clear is that you’re not giving proper respect to the joyful, mindless gunfest that is Wanted.

It’s basically just Shoot ‘Em Up with less humor and less of Monica Bellucci’s boobs.

Damn, what does it say about me that I’m really looking forward to the remake of “The Day the Earth Stood Still” (a long ago, childhood favorite)?

And no, I’m not a Keanu Reeves fan (not really, anyway). Can’t think of anyone else who’d be perfect for the role of an alien visiting earth to give a sternly worded lecture about how we’re f*cking things up and need to clean up our act.

      Ahem.

I’m a fan of Keanu when he’s in the right role. And this definitely looks like the right (monotone, emotionless, stonefaced) role.
