Why? Because there is essentially nothing on this planet that I could picture myself having such a zealot’s undying fascination with. I love the Red Sox for example, but Julio Lugo sucks donkey balls, ticket prices are too expensive and a large number of the fans suck (I’m calling you out, pink hats). I also wish I had the time, effort, ambition and devotion to do some of the straight-up useless, outlandish shit that geeks do. I couldn’t even learn French and they can fluently speak Klingon. Well, I’m assuming it’s fluent, but no one can really tell since it’s a made up fucking language. Then there’s the super-intricate costumes. Check out these people.
