Giveaway: Son of Rambow on DVD!

Son of Rambow drops on DVD today, available for sale exclusively at Best Buy. Luckily for you, I’ve got a copy available for giveaway, saving you the $2.27 in gas it’d take you to get to the nearest big blue box.
Unless, of course, you feel like discussing the merits of an expensive product service plan you don’t really need. In which case, you’d should totally just drive over to Best Buy. That’s the place for you. Not this smelly, service-plan-free blog. Off with you.
Paramount Home Entertainment wants you to know a little something about Son of Rambow, and it goes like this:
The irresistibly original and hilarious film follows the adventures of two boys growing up in the video age of the 1980s. Will Proudfoot is looking for an escape from his family’s stifling home life when he encounters Lee Carter, the school bully. Armed with a video camera and a copy of Rambo: First Blood, Lee plans to make cinematic history by filming his own action-packed video epic. Together, these two newfound friends-turned-budding-filmmakers quickly discover that their imaginative—and sometimes mishap-filled—cinematic adventure has begun to take on a life of its own!
Having seen this film when it was out in (about seventeen) theaters, I can attest that the ridiculously charm of accented British kids plus the imaginative glee of the movie-sweding process equals a completely productive time in front of your home theater system.
But only if you enjoy charm and laughs, Mr. McScrooge.

Is this movie any good? I meant to watch catch it in the theater but it came and went while I was LSATing. Stupid test!

First off…this was a fantastic movie and no one I know saw it. Glad you got to check it out. I am new to seeing the sweded movie thing, but the weirdest so far has to be this take off on Willy Wonka…just for the weird guy who plays Willy Wonka if nothing else!
