Giveaway: Sin City Blu-ray!
By Great White Snark | April 13, 2009
Because Buena Vista Home Entertainment wants to make Mickey Rourke’s ugly mug available in 1080p HD to anyone who wants to see it, BVHE is releasing the Sin City Blu-ray next April 21.
Plus, since it’s on Blu-ray, so you get fancy-pantsy extras like:
All new Cine-Explore – Innovative Blu-ray technology allows viewers to experience a uniquely interactive visual commentary that pushes the envelope. When selected, see picture-in-picture green screen footage and original art synced with the filmmakers’ commentary.
You know what that means, right? Jessica Alba’s exotic dance routine (i.e., stripper dance) without all the distracting background and scenery! Worth the price of admission, people. (Which, you know… happens to be “free” in this case.)
To sign up to win a copy of Sin City on Blu-ray:
- If you haven’t already, get an e-mail subscription to Great White Snark. It won’t cost you nuthin’.

One entry per person. And remember, cheaters never prosper, because I’ve got your IP address, people: duplicate entries are dopey entries. Winners outside the forty-eight contiguous U.S. states pay shipping. Because this ain’t a money tree, it’s just a plain ol’ blog.

Foe. He still owes me $25 from our last poker night. Hell, I can’t stay mad at the guy. He’s a friend. But I still want my money.

Awesome giveaway. I think Miller is a friend, but not one that I would let borrow my lawn-mower. Not after he dropped that ’300′ turd…

Friend! – Did you see how many abdoMENs were in 300?

Frank Miller is a friend because without him we wouldn’t have Sin City or get a chance to win it on Blu-ray.

I would say friend for all the good he’s done in comics, but I’m voting FOE because of the Spirit. ‘Nuff said.

Friend. It was through his vision that allowed Robert Rodriguez to bring Carla Gugino’s rack to screen … and now you can enjoy it in your own home in the glory of 1080p.

Foe; the awfulness of “The Spirit” nullifies the awesomeness of “Sin City”. Add in “300″ and the scales definitely tip towards foe. And, small though it may have been, he had a role in “Daredevil”.

Friend fo’ sho’!!!!!…
Daredevil run, Sin City movies and books, his original Dark Knight books broke all kinds of ground back in the day (for example, as a Burton influence) so comic book movies could be taken seriously by the studios…
