In quite possibly the best profit/plot motive ever, the aliens in Liquid Sky come to Earth to steal our heroin.

My favorite was the pliot from – They Live
where the aliens don’t want to kill us they don’t want to eat us the just want to rule us by using a satilite to make it so we can’t see subliminal messages or there true forms… Sort of and the only way they can be seen is by putting on some sunglasses… Yeah I’ll buy that
but I lovvveeee the part where Roddy Pipper walks into a bank sees a couple of them and say The Line “I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass… And I’m all out of bubblegum” and starts blasting the aliens with a shotgon and a colt

yeah I always loved that movie

ALF!!!! c’mon, the writer was on heroin whilst coming up with stories about a cat-eating alien living with a middle class family, and made it a national craze!

As a kid I loved a show called “Hard Time on Planet Earth”. Martin Kove (who played John “Sweep the leg” Kreese in the Karate Kid) was an alien soldier sentenced to learn humanity on Earth. He had a robot watcher named “Control” that was a little like Skeets from Booster Gold. Every week (all 12 of them it was on) they had to come to the aid of the little guy (us puny humans) and learn a lesson about being human.
If I were to watch it now I’m sure my hand would be covering my face at least half the time.

Oh, I’m looking into the near future, when I’ll hear THE INCREDIBLE HULK, exiled to the planet SAKAAR, say to the kick-butt, noble-born girl hottie, “Elloe? Elloe! Can you hear Hulk now?”

Whenever I think of aliens, I always think of the original V, and that lizard baby sticking out it’s forked tongue.

      Best storyline about an alien?

Hands down, without a question, it *has* to be that episode of Welcome Back Kotter where Horshack was abducted by Gray’s and anally probed.

Seriously, I laughed, I cried, I fell down. It was Ok.

… That *was* real, right? I know I did a lot of acid back in the 70s…..

There was this movie called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull that had to do with aliens. It was kind of great, especially when he hopped in an old fridge and was thrown a great distance in a nuclear explosion.

I think I’d have to go with the Supernatural episode “Tall Tales” where a kid thinks he was abducted by an alien and made to slow-dance with it.The cut-scene to the kid and the alien holding each other and swaying to “Lady in Red” sent me to the floor with laughter.

So many moments and/or scenes amuse me greatly, like when the critter in Critters 2, who upon seeing his hair in the reflection of a toaster after being shot in the head, says “bitchin!”, or in Independence Day when the newscaster says “Once again, the L.A.P.D. is asking Los Angelenos not to fire their guns at the visitor spacecraft. You may inadvertently trigger an interstellar war.”

But I’d have to say my absolute favorite comes from the recent Planet 51 – the little pet Alien “dog”, complete with crazy tongue and acid for urine. Had me laughing in the very first preview, and was even more fun while watching the movie. (Though I sometimes wonder what H.R. Giger thinks of the adaptation.)
