So Bad, It’s Good: King Crab Attack Movie Trailer
By Great White Snark | January 27, 2010
It’s no Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, but as far as schlocky movies about super-sized monsters rising from the ocean depths go, King Crab Attack looks like a strong contender.
Even without Lorenzo Lamas and Debbie Gibson co-starring alongside the churlish crustaceans.
I love that someone actually put thought into a synopsis for this madness:
Transgenic giant crabs attack the beaches of Trouville. The evil Raymond Santos, owner of a nearby processing plant, seeks to increase his company’s profitability by mucking about with the genetic structure of ordinary crabs, which proceed to do what all good self-respecting critters do in those circumstances: they grow to an enormous size and go on a rampage of destruction. They are uncontrollable. Basile Garaud, a member of the coastguard, conducts an investigation into the matter.
That sure is a lot of words to say “hilarious giant-monster-crab action.”
Via Undead Backbrain, by way of Quiet Earth, who is against cruelty to crustaceans. Unless they’d taste really, really good with melted butter.

I turned to Megashark vs Giant Octopus just in time to see the shark jump about 5000 feet into the sky to eat the airplane. Good stuff.
