Cutest Lil’ Violence: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Stop-Motion LEGO Animation
By Great White Snark | March 2, 2010
Here’s a fantastic LEGO stop-motion animation by Fancy Pants Productions based on the mega-successful (and deliciously violent) Star Wars video game property, The Force Unleashed.
I made this as part of an animation challenge on bricksinmotion.com. The goal was to make the coolest lightsaber duel possible. The lightsaber and blaster effects were done in photoshop.
Come for the hot Star Wars-y action, stay for the remarkable smoothness of the stop-motion animation, the professional camera movements, and the high-quality, tightly-integrated sound effects.
Or, you can make like GWS and giggle, point, and say, “Mmmm, pretty.”
Mmmm, pretty.
Via Brothers Brick, who will force choke you if you don’t stop running in the house with that lightsaber on.

Pretty freaking impressive. Let’s see, 143 seconds long, at 24 frames per second is almost 3500 still shots.
Impressive!
