A Perfect Fit: Star Trek Meets Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I know I shamed Star Trek* a mere four posts ago, but this video of Star Trek footage edited to recreate a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail has been burning a hole in my pocket for a few days now.
Plus, it’s any day of the week, which makes it a perfect day for having a laugh at the expense of Star Trek.
Best part? None of that Star Trek footage needs to be out of context to look completely ridiculous.

TOS was a little painful the first time through, but I was in my early teens & it was all new to me. I tried rewatching recently and found I couldn’t make it through episodes without stopping a dozen times to shake off the stupid or awkward. Nevertheless…there’s still a place in my heart for it, especially some of the eps.

I discovered this vid months ago, but then again I’m also a Trekker (TOS) and Python fan. I esp love the “pig dog” and “fart in your general direction” parts.
