Thanks, 1975!: Terrible Superman: The Musical TV Special
By Great White Snark | May 20, 2010
Let’s make a bet:
I bet you can pick any point in this 90-minute Superman musical TV special from 1975 and discover something hilariously terrible, whether it be the acting, script, music, set design, costumes, script (no, really, this time), or portrayal of Superman*.
Now give me my money.
Via Comics Alliance, who has a crush on Superman, too, but has the decency not to sing about it.
* There’s heavy moping and crying. That’s all I’m saying.

Dear God! Even by the low standards of the mid-1970s this sucks! Mystery Science Theater 3000 couldn’t make this train wreck watchable.

I dunno, I rather enjoyed it. I love cheesiness. (cheesity?)
