Now with Unironic International Flavor: Star Wars Wedding Cake [Geeky Cake]

By Great White Snark | August 2, 2010

So I like how this “Spanish” version of a Star Wars cake (found here by the Official Star Wars Blog) does indeed feature figures with the heavy brows and large noses typical of caricatures of Spaniards.

Spanish Star Wars Cake

Does it count as racist if the cake artisan is actually a Spaniard? (I’m going with “yes,” but even more hilariously so.)

Either way, I look forward to a Star Wars cake “honoring” my people* with the common stereotypes that plague us. I.e., the Han Solo cake topper will have a big nose and a musky scent that buckles the knees of any lady lucky enough to look upon it.

Irresistible, half-Jewish bloggers.
