By Great White Snark | August 10, 2010

If only Engrish-speaking Chinese counterfeiters did all DVD cover art. Buying DVDs would be a lot more fun. Like Cracker Jack boxes. You never know what prize you’re going to get!

Me at the DVD store: “Is there really a Starship Enterprise in one of these episodes of Battlestar Galactica??

Chinese Pirate Liars:Buying the DVD is the only way to know for sure.”

Me at the DVD store: “Golly, you’re right!”

They are probably even more confused then you think since, unless my eyes are lying, that appears to be a Stargate in the background…

wait? there’s the Enterprise and in the background it looks like a Stargate, not a normal one, but still it’s a stargate. They’re even lined up like the stargate people on their boxes. This could make the show very interesting.

That’s the Stargate Atlantis gate in the background, which just adds to the epic awesome.

I’m amused that “good-hearted tween comedy” and “saw-like twist at the end” are not mutually exclusive to whoever collected the fake quotations. I’m seeing a whole new genre here.
