The Matrix WAS the Scott Pilgrim that people paid to see–I mean, it basically amounts to the same thing: high octane guys’ fantasy about kickin’ ass in a stylized world (here it’s anime/sci-fi influenced) while winning the totally hot girl who also totally kicks ass.
