Inspired by the designs in the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game, Spookylean posted on Instructables the how-to guide for making this very-cool collapsable Batarang. (Video below.)

Which seems like a really worthwhile craft project, right up until the point where I remember I’m not allowed to throw it at people.

A character based on a cross between Darth Vader and Batman should rightfully look like a complete badass, but this guy falls down on one little design decision: you can see his eyes.
Instead of looking like an imposing cybernetic avenger, he looks like a guy in a costume trying way too hard.
