Geek Nirvana!: Metal Gear Solid Cake [Geeky Cake of the Week]
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009I think Teri is trying to force me into retirement. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have sent me the details on this chocolate (with chocolate mousse filling) Metal Gear Solid cake by Rosebud Cakes.
Game over, man. I can only hope the Lords of the Internetubules can someday deliver unto me a confectionery geeky specimen that won’t pale [...]
So THAT’s His Name: Jedi Master Plo Koon Star Wars Cake [Geeky Cake of the Week]
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009Amazing cake, eh? Remember this guy from the Star Wars prequels? He served on the Jedi Council, fought in the Clone Wars battle scenes, and otherwise spent many other seconds on screen in front of various CGI backdrops. Remember?

Anyway. Cake….
Darth Vader Star Wars Cake – Vader’s trying to force-choke his bladder. – Geeky Cake of the Week
Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009This Star Wars cake presents a fairly good confectionery depiction of Darth Vader. Specifically… of Darth Vader desperately clutching himself because he so badly needs to go “number one.”
I guess the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force, which is insignificant next to the demands of an overactive [...]
Star Wars Ewok Cake Looks Furlicious – Geeky Cake of the Week
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009Sure, I’ve posted a beautifully-crafted Star Wars Ewok cake on GWS before, but for what this one lacks in finesse, it clearly compensates by perfectly-capturing an Ewok’s glassy-eyed, fixed point stare.
That is the deceptively-vacant stare of a cuddly forest-dweller whose buddies can annihilate a Stormtrooper battalion with their tiny, fuzzy, technologically-unsophisticated hands.
Behold Victoria’s first attempt [...]
